Not the best stay I've had, Took a while to get into my room BUT the staff was very nice and friendly and actually the lady at the front desk and the Maint. man ended up going up and cleaning a room for me, so great staff just horrible owner/franchisee. Several rooms had no TV and A/C was an issue in some also. A/C system only works if you are in room and cuts off when you leave so you come back to a 80 degree room...not good way to save some money at guests expense.Breakfast room closes right at time stated and no chance to grab an apple or anything because unlike hundreds of other properties and chains I have stayed at they lock it up tight. so get there or be out of luck, noooo exemptions.

The room was great, the service was great, breakfast was good, employees were nice and respectful. The only issue is we reserved a room with two beds, but when we walked into the room it was a king bed. We needed the two beds. We asked to change, but they had none. Overall, nice place to stay. Movie theatre next door, Walmart across the street, and many places to eat.

Positive: I liked the make-over by Holiday Inn and that breakfast was included. Negative: Building is 20 years old. Smells moldy. Sticky and humid in building/room. Some shower hardware rusty and loose. Took a while for hot water. My initial floor smelled of pot, and I heard a drunk man screaming at a woman a few rooms down. Clerk moved us.

I've stayed many holiday inn expresses and this one is probably worse than the one I stayed in out in Charleston, Wv. You have hot water for the shower for 5 min then goes luke warm to cold, the Breakfast wasn't that good no tenant to man the Breakfast area they weren't fixing anything to replenish the Breakfast area, and rude staff. I wont be staying here again.
