Not very welcoming. Upon pulling in the camp host comes, we say Hi we're in site so-and-so. She says "Oh no You're NOT" My husband guessed she thought we were too long (we're 40ft towing a van) and let her know we can take the van off. Her response was "The city will have to come take a look" and walks away. No explanation, no hiya how ya doing, nothing pleasant. The online booking shows our pull through spot as being 60ft long and lists no other restrictions so really not sure what's going on. Too bad bc the place looks cute (although it is a few feet from a railroad track not sure how that's going to sound). I'm online now looking for somewhere else incase the city says no for whatever reason - really not sure what the issue even is at this point. Will update. UPDATE: After the city approved us, the hosts became very helpful and downright sweet! They said the city was in the middle of making new rules (the issue was that we are a schoolie but we could stay because we looked "pretty good"). Not sure if the new rules will be to not allow conversions or to allow but I've never had this issue at a municipality, county, state, or national park anywhere else in the country and their website mentioned nothing about it. The showers close at 8 but the hosts close them earlier. The were very accommodating about opening them for us and even told us to take our time but it's a bit awkward to ask for permission to potty and shower lol. The should close them at the posted time or change their signs. There is a nice little river and disc golf field over the railroad tracks. The train did go through a few times at night but it wasn't very long and didn't really bother us. The park is very pretty although it is heavily frequented but the surrounding neighborhood. Not sure if I would return - I'd have to get someone from the city on the phone to verify we'd be allowed to stay first so as to avoid the stress of trying to find last minute accommodations.

We car camped in our EV. Well lit Rv park. The bathroom and showers are heated. Showers are coin operated. Felt very safe. One less star because it’s literally right next to train tracks. You can see it go by every now and then. I recommend staying here!

Happy to have found this wonderful small campground. Large sites, quiet, excellent price and lovely grounds. Just here for the night but hope to get back and explore some day.

The hosts are amazing and very patient and kind hearted. Our car was stolen (in roseburg) so all we had was the mh. For just a few dollars for gas they ran my wife to the store and back. She is not a fast shopper by any means. So i felt that was way far and beyond any normal host duties. The lots are all paved and the grounds are immaculate! They even have wifi!!
