Lackey Chapel is a multi denominational church that provides services to Coastal Carolina University students, faculty, staff and alumni members. You have to have a connection to the University in order to utilize this facility. It is used for memorial services, weddings, campus group functions and other special occasions. Its is a nice and comfortable feeling chapel with enough room for smaller functions. We were here for the funeral service for for a Vietnam Vet who was on the college board. Our group, the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR, look us up on Google and YouTube for what we do) were invited to provide an Honor Guard detail along with other groups such as the Combat Vets Motorcycle Club and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) who performed the flag ceremony. We want to thank the staff for allowing us the honor to participate in this service for one of America's heroes.
