The air show performers were top notch. This review is specifically about the Hillsboro 2022 show. “No Outside Food or Drink”. OK…no problem my daughter and I will just buy it there. I spent over 2 hours in line to get my daughter a drink. We didn’t even get to watch the air show together. It was hot and you guys advertised that we need to purchase everything the show. That is not a problem except you were not prepared for the crowd. It was a hot summer day. We were parched when we left only to find the only relief was a water spicket at the front gate with tiny paper cups. The experience was terrible. It was a huge let down. All we wanted was water. FYI….bring your own water bottle. It has to be empty or you will have to dump it and fill it up with the Hillsboro city water tap. This would have been really helpful to post on the website. We would have been glad to bring our own but it said specifically “No Outside Food or Drink” so we trusted that we would be ok if we had money. Not so.

Volunteer, parking, air shows, Performers are beyond five stars! I give three stars because it took two hours to get food, it has very limited food stores. Can you imagine if you need to queue for two hours just for one can of soda? Personally I don’t see “Wooow” moments compare to 2019/2018. Not many fighters jets, however all the performers are extremely humble, friendly and welcoming!

Four days it has been nonstop the wonderful noise that comes with breaking the speed barrier directly above my roof; people in this community were not warned that the usual early summer schedule had been changed to May. It’s inconsiderate and he gets a waste of money when there is such a gigantic homeless and crime problem in this state. He being “the man” that decide that this is going to help the American society, it’s a dumb solution! if you want to bring people together have a gigantic street party where people get to know each other!

5:45 Friday, noon Saturday & Sunday
10 dollars over across from Fair grounds. Cash only there. On field parking is about 60 bucks.
This year is it the 28, 29, 30 of September. Gates open at 9, I believe. It is always a good time! You can get tickets online too!
But like I was saying we got a deal off of Groupon so I would look on there for sure
I wouldn't think so I was at the airshow yesterday from 9 in the morning till about 4:30 we did get some afternoon showers and it didn't seem to slow things down so I would think that it wouldn't be closed or cancelled because of rain but I'm not 110% sure I will try to find out and post a accurate answer. What I can honestly say is that I had an absolute blast it was amazingly fun even though it started to shower so what I would do is take an umbrella wear a coat and I can guarantee you'll still enjoy yourself
Practice is Friday afternoon. I don't know the exact time but based on years past the practice is usually around 1100-1200. This year the airspace closes at 1100 for the practice, so it is safe to assume 1100 start time. There are no tickets for this nor airfield access.
