A single parent of 4 took their vehicle in to have a power steering leak fix after being told how thorough they are and they fixed everything but the issue which was the steering gear box and received a 800.00 bill which was paid but the problem is still there. How can u not notice a leak at the very bottom that still requires a bottle of fluid every day or 2 tops . The hoses leaked yes but they replace the steering pump which didn't need and never bothered replacing or fixing the issue. Very bad workmanship and highly price for not doing the job properly. Now they want another 600.00 to fix the gear box which was the the issue from the start. Sounds as if they take advantage of people that don't know better and put trust in Westlake auto in Denver. W W Y D. 🤔

Originally, I took my car in for a front brake replacement. The mechanic said that the front brakes were the one needing to be replaced. After they were replaced, the brakes made a bad screeching sound when pressure was applied. The noise concerned me so I asked the shop to take a look at it again and when I went to go back to try to fix the problem they informed me that it was my back brakes that were the issue. There were definitely some inconsistencies on the decision of which brakes were an issue, so, in good reason I didn’t trust them to further look at my car. Instead, I had my father in law inspect them. He has been doing his own brakes for years. It turned out that the mechanic did not spray brake quiet spray on the shims, which was causing my screeching problem. Just to double check, my father-in-law checked the back brakes that were “an issue” according to the mechanic. The back brakes were perfectly fine. So I called the owner to inform him in a polite manner of the errors that my father-in-law had found and fixed for me. I explained to him that I had spent a lot of money on this repair ($400+) and that it was not done correctly. He began to speak very disrespectfully to me and didn’t even attempt to restore the situation. Rather he turned it around on me and had no concern of meeting the customers needs. He told me that his mechanic has been doing this job for 12 years and that I didn’t know what was talking about. Then, he said that my father-in-law was an “amateur mechanic.” The owner never offered to take a look at my car, but he got very defensive and it really upset me. To anyone reading this review, don’t have take my word for it but I would have no reason to call if there was never a problem to begin with. The owner was extremely unprofessional and I personally won’t be going back to this place. To conclude I decided in the end to let it go and just write this review because I knew it wasn’t going to be fight I would win and just to take it as a lesson learned for the future. So I guess in way I have them to thank for teaching me what not to do.

This is a great place to take your vehicle to get trustworthy service and repairs . In today's busy and troubled times the last thing you need to worry about is maintenence for you're vehicle.
