Beautiful facility. Staff was all very nice. I had a 60min massage that was ok, and a mani peti that was terrible. For $325.00. I only gave two stars because the massage was okay. Save your money and go into Spokane. Seriously my toes looked better going in then coming out. 😢

After another place misplaced our advanced booking, my wife found La Rive Spa. Couldn't be happier that we found this place. Probably one of the best spas I have been to, but much less expensive than I thought. About 1/2 the price of the original spa, which was a nice surprise. They have attendants on both men and women's side with Cucumber water, drinks, and lounge. They have seperate dry saunas. Each also has an "experience" shower, but the men's was broken. Then there is a shared salt room between the men and women's side. I do like a steam sauna, but I didn't miss that too much. We were both able to get facials. I have really clogged pores and they were able to dissolve and unclog them before extractions phase. This is a first for me to have very little to extract. My wife also got a message she said was excellent.

The only reason the stars aren't lower is that the attendant that greeted us, and the actual services were great. Those staff members were friendly and accommodating; however, the same can not be said about the staff at the desk for checkout. My provider, who's name I never got, forgot to add one of the additional services I asked for. At checkout, I was honest and mentioned an additional service I received. The gal working the desk seemed annoyed, and tried (unsuccessfully) to figure out how to include it all while glaring at me from behind the screen. Granted, I was not happy and admitted that we would not be back to this spa as I received zero gratitude for my honesty. The attendant checking us out wanted me to pay more than the service was worth, couldn't figure out the screen and then with a snarky tone asked "how could I make your experience better in the future". How about appreciating your guests and keeping your attitude in check? I will drive to CDA for my spa needs in the future and for any more gift certificates I purchase.

It’s really hard for me to rate the spa with three stars because usually I have a good experience. However, I have come to the spa quite a few times where I do not get the full service I requested. For example, my husband and I were scheduled for a couples massage an hour before the closing time. The individuals doing our massage did not come to get us until 6:10 PM, 10 minutes after our scheduled massage. Then, they were done with our massage At 6:50 PM when the spa closed at 7:00pm. I was upset because our massage was pricey and we didn’t get a full hour for our anniversary present to each other. Additionally, there have been other times where I have visited and have had an hour long service and the nail technician finishes my nails before the scheduled time. This has happened a lot when I go with girlfriends and have to sit and wait while they get their full service completed. I have had a lot of enjoyable experiences as well. Therefore, if you find an employee who does a great job make sure to go back to them and not leave it up to chance since some of the employees know that they are getting the 20% gratuity whether they provide great service or not.
