The management at this property is unresponsive, and they do not have safety and emergency protocols in place for current residents. For a property considered to be "luxury" and located at a metro station there is work to be done at the management level to ensure residents are safe and have emergency resources should an unfortunate even occur.

New Review 1/8/2022 - MOVING OUT That was an attention getter, right? I’ve lived at this property for over 3 YEARS and absolutely loved it! It was originally a modera managed by Mill Creek and management recently changed to Panco. I was very much on the offense about a company i didn’t recognize but they actually manage the property BETTER in my opinion that the previous owner. It’s is very clean, they maintain the property. This community is SAFE, metro accessible, amazing retail and most of all COMFORTABLE! Both gyms are pretty awesome with a variety of machines! I LOVED my apartment so much it was so hard to make the decision to leave. The only reason I’m moving is because I want to live in a different part of the DMV and try something new! Not sure what the mix was with the other reviews but as an extremely critical person who looks at detail, My stay here was amazing! Thank you to Ida the concierge who was so wonderful and always helpful, Chris Darden (manager), the Maintence team and everyone involved to make my stay a wonderful three years! Attaching pictures of my unit because i was obsessed with it! If i could rate this again, I’d say 5 stars all over! ***************** My concierge Maria is quite amazing. She is definitely the soul of this property and quite honestly the VERY REASON I decided to stay here another year. From day one when I met her moving here from another part of this country, she made me feel warm and welcomed. She was very honest about this community and practically sold it to me. She handles my packages, concerns, and the needs of our neighbors in this community professionally and with care. Every time I see her she makes me smile and has something positive to say. Thank you all for allowing us to have Maria!

Great apartment. Awesome location. Really enjoy the convenience of being above the Harris Teeter and in close to proximity to the Dunn Loring metro and Mosaic District. However, the leasing company, Panco Management, is totally unreasonable and inflexible with their key fob policy. We recently brought a new puppy into our home and discovered there’s a great dog walker who lives in the building and has been providing pet-related services in the area (including our building) for years. In order to provide her regular access to our apartment to walk our new puppy, we paid $100 for a new key fob only to learn that even though we purchased the fob, it had to be kept with the leasing office/concierge, which aren’t staffed 24/7. So in the case of an emergency, our dog walker (or any approved guests for the matter) wouldn’t be able to access OUR apartment. Apparently we can’t control who/when someone accesses our apartment. Additionally, the whole policy hinges on the fact that management doesn’t want anyone who hasn’t been screened to have access to building. But our dog walker actually lives in the building so she’s already been screened and has access to the building. Did I mention paid to have this extra key fob made?? For an apartment building that claims to be pet friendly, The Point at Dunn Loring makes it extremely difficult to make sure our pets are well taken care of. Not to mention the extreme inconvince of not being able to have an extra key for guests or visitors. Having access restricted to an apartment you pay a lot of money for is extremely disappointing.

Update: they cleaned the windows. It’s too bad it took this long and I had to go to these measures to get them to do anything about it. I also found out for the past year they’ve been giving me false information about how they determine when it’s time to clean the windows. But they did it so they’ll get a better review from me. For the most part they are okay. The walls are thin but that's to be expected. However, I have never been more disappointed with an apartment as far as upkeep. We have lived here over a year now and I've asked them to clean the windows SO MANY TIMES. If we are paying $2200 a month for a place you should at least be responsive with requests that will take a while. Will most definitely not be renewing our lease.
