I was at the retreat 12 years a go. I'm putting my dime in because I cannot believe how many complaints and one star reviews there are. I've been to a.couple rehabs, the Retreat is by far steps above the rest. To sound corny, it literally is what you make of it. The staff cannot pour good vibes, sobriety and health into your tank, then you drive happily away on the road of life. You get exactly what you give. Start by helping others, even a smile could make or break someone. Believe it. The negativity will only make you relapse, over and over again folks. I thank you, I am sober. The food was by far, nummy, especially compared to other places. Yah, the kitchen lady Is a grump, so what. The other staff was always pleasant to me. Again, thank you. ~May your main sails always be full of ocean spray flavored breezes and may the suns' glow always warm your face.

As a family member of a person that recently sought treatment at your facility we were very happy with the overall treatment he received and all that was accomplished while there .Kudos especially to his therapist Willie the only negative thing was there was no communication from any staff until day 8 and that was a family therapy coordinator that contacted me but had little patient information , I never once heard from the facility as to how things were going also money I had applied to his badge was never conveyed to him so he didn’t know he had money. Other than the lack of communication we would recommend the Retreat

I left working at retreat almost month ago. I worked there for almost 3 years. And I have a lot I could say about the company in whole and why it could do better but at end of day I won’t because I made the best decision and left finally. When I first started working there I believed in everything Retreat said. Even when I left it was still hard for me to leave. I loved working there or thought I did but I was over worked and never felt like I was appreciated by management! After working there for 9 months I was moved to intake on first shift running that part of the CA dept. after year I moved to medical records. Then medical records dept was put into another dept. I was asked to go back to intake and run it again. I accepted but I made it known I wanted move up in the company. I didn’t want to feel stuck. Which is what happened. I gave everything for the company … My vacations i still got calls and even worked the whole week at home while I had Covid. Even on my weekends I was still answering emails and calls even though I wasn’t salary. I did it because that’s my work ethics. I put everything into my work and want make it perfect. I’m not saying I don’t make mistakes because I do but I own up to them and make sure I fix it. Anyways when it came down to it. Unless You’re a former patient you won’t move up in the company. If you’re “too valuable” in your current position you won’t move up as well. Always excuse as to why you can’t. Even though you are or may be qualified for that other position. Also they don’t post positions and sweep it under the rug to give to others in company. My biggest thing is value the good employees!!! Don’t let them feel like they don’t mean anything … and words don’t do it. Actions prove it !! I’ve witnessed clinical supervisors scream at CA because she was crying after witnessing horrible thing that happened there.. I had patients scream and threaten to hit staff and Clincial ignores that and buys the patients all Rita’s to calm them down instead of TD .. I witness female CA get thrown into a wall and the male patient still got to stay… This is just few things that went on while I was there. I know alot more but again it’s not worth mentioning because it will be denied anyways .. I just want to say don’t let the good employees go!! Value them!! And there are alot of good employees there. I will miss a ton! But there are bad ones as well

The retreat experience was amazing the therapist do a great job in getting there message across and the way to stay sober and move in the right way. My therapist was Willie and I can say by far he’s the one you should get he relates with his patients and connects in every way. Overall the experience was great and I feel like I obtained everything I need to be successful in my next chapter. Thank you retreat!!

This is an inpatient facility where recovery is the focus. Clients are not allowed any type of passes. They do go off campus, but only to attend outside meetings or equine therapy. Despite not seeing your loved one on the holidays, consider that you know where they are and they are safe this holiday. 28 days goes by really quick.
