I don't think I ever would have thought I'd be rating a recycling center but it's a strangely pleasant place to go drop off your recyclables and trash. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I think I've spent more time there talking than throwing away my large recycling. Just make sure to bring proof of Portsmouth residency to get in.

I believe you need to empty the cans first using kitty litter or similar. Dried paint can be thrown out and the empty paint cans can be recycled in the metal bin. I'm not 100% on this but that's been my experience in the past

It needs to be empty of fuel and oil. Then they will take it.
