The Exeter Area YMCA is an immaculately clean and motivational environment to be in. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the group ex instructors are amazing! The Y offers over 45 group ex classes for every fitness level. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Careful of their 10 day cancellation notice. They were not helpful or accommodating and charged my account for a month when I will be out of the country after giving 7 days notice-plenty of time to adjust an account.

Much nicer than the Portsmouth Y, albeit no pool (though I understand there is one being planned); much nicer equipment; a lot of space to do stretching, etc... in the classrooms if there are no classes. Only issue is that it seems every area 7th-12th grader in the area utilizes the basketball court; hence swarms of people need to share each basket to try & shoot; don't know if there is a solution- just an unfortunate reality.

This is an excellent place. It's nice and clean with great amenities. My son loves the basketball courts plus the ability to use other YMCA's in surrounding areas is great. I haven't tried the classes but they seem well organized and fun. Give it a try 🌺

Hi Josephine. There is a child care on site, however, it is currently closed. We will keep everyone posted as we work to re-open all parts of the facility.
No, they don't. They are hoping to have one in the future.
Usually open but not always. A schedule is on their website and changes monthly.
It's "Phase 2"... I would imagine it will be at least a couple of years, but I don't know for sure.
