I had a great stay here with my family. Hotel is located very close to the city and the Path train. Parking was in a garage across the street so that was easy as well. Would definitely stay again.

Overpriced (After taxes I spent over $200 for one night, no bar/room service) no pool like it adversises. The workout equipment is so outdated that my phone wouldn't even link and the yoga mats were worn out. I could hear other rooms making noise. The staff was friendly. The hotel is pretty but not worth $200. The cafe down the street was the highlight of my stay. I'm mostly disappointed about the pool. Otherwise, I would not have picked this one.

We are staying here for five days. The place could use a new living room set but otherwise it is a nice place to stay. Manhattan hotels prices have become outrageous and since we're traveling and visiting both Manhattan and Brooklyn this place seem to be Central to where we needed to be. We have the one bedroom apartment. I wouldn't call it a room because it has a bedroom, a living room a small dining area, small kitchen and a pretty decent bathroom. If you want to be in Manhattan and don't mind a 20-minute ride on the PATH train, this is the place besides when you're coming to a vacation in New York you're not planning on staying in the room anyway. Customer service is great! I met the desk staff and the cleaning personnel. The restaurants that are here "Ah Pizz" for pizza and Five Guys, and right downstairs there's a restaurant on location here at the hotel and other stores and pub places nearby.

Having a great stay and this will definitely be my hotel of choice when I come back again for work. Love having the kitchen in the room, though it’s honestly not even that necessary with the free breakfast and on week nights they give you a free drink ticket and some bread and cheese. There are also a good handful of restaurants nearby and it’s right across from the PATH station. Great choice for any stay in the area.

Westin uses and sells The Heavenly Bed. Element is "by Westin". If its not the Heavenly Bed, its something close.

I would call The Element regarding the first two questions. Parking was free at the lot next door. I did not pay a $100 deposit. They may remove it after you check out. If you take the Path train to the NY Waterway, and then Uber once you get to the island, you can probably make it to Time Square in under an hour depending on when you go and traffic. I did on a Saturday night at the end of March in about an hour.
The showers are quite nice and very spacious
Yes they give you access to the Pool in the residential building across the street.
