Went inside and the girl taking my order was pretty rude to me. I understand that it was later at night and employees are tired but she was huffing and puffing when I was asking her questions about what they had and deciding what I was going to order. I felt kinda rushed. It didn't seem like good customer service to me.

Went through the drive through, paid 41$ For our meals plus some ice creams. It’s almost like they didn’t even know what I ordered thank goodness we checked the bags before we left had to ask for my fry that came with the basket, the woman asks if that’s all, then had to ask for my blizzard I ordered as well. We asked for a receipt just incase we were missing something else. Now I understand we’re in FC so everyone has their own way of being nice. But I am sitting next to my wife and this woman, says Mariah on the receipt, not sure if that’s her or not, but starts off with “darling” okay whatever she’s being nice. They she proceeds with “hun” “darling” “sweetheart” at the end of every sentence. It honestly got excessive, and I know it’s just a hospitality thing but I really felt like it was disrespectful towards my wife.

Odd little place. The customers in the parking lot seemed to know I wasn't from the area or something and were weird. Lots of odd looks or stares and I almost felt like I wasn't in on some joke or something. For a moment I kind of thought I was in the Twilight zone. The Girl at the window was super adorable and friendly to me even though I was unfamiliar with the menu, and by this time I was sort of awkward because of the energy I picked up on before deciding to go thru the drive thru. She acted as if I wasn't though, which sort of showed a level of professionalism you wouldn't expect from someone without years of customer service knowledge it. She was quite young or seemed so. But it was refreshing to see how capable and easy she did this. Almost effortlessly. Wish I'd have gotten her name.

It has been a very long time since I've been to a DQ and was excited to discover this one. Staff was very friendly, food was prepared quickly and tasted wonderful, and of course dessert was worth the extra calories. I plan to hit this DQ every time I have to go to Rocky Mount.
