Carl and his family are always very pleasant. The wood here is just fantastic . The assortment , variety and quality excellent. This also is the place to buy exotics. Every time I go there they have something new for me to look at . Today I went in for a piece of pine and maple but ended up with a half a truck full exotics and different live edge slabs. Hello. Yes, we are an active sawmill. However, we do not debark our logs at this time. We cut slabs from the sides instead. These are sorted into hardwood and softwood and bundled to be sold as firewood/kindling. We do not have bark mulch. If you are looking for pieces of wood with the "bark on" perhaps these slabs would be helpful? Some churches have purchased them to create a rustic creche.
Hello - yes. We can supply rough cut hemlock, cedar or fir suitable for raised beds. There is also a blog (from the top navigation bar on our site) which gives some tips on constructing raised beds.
