I ordered an AC split system for in store pick-up, but wanted to cancel it without coming to the store. I followed the website instruction, but the option is not available then I called the store customer service 4 times and each time the phone rang off the hook, no body pick it up. The customer service of Home Depot in Salem NH is terrible and need to improve.

Just left Home Depot on Rte 28 Salem NH amd I had to write a review because the staff, including a manager, were so nice and helpful. I don’t normally come to this one because it’s geographically out of the way for me, but I’ll travel here from now on for the awesome customer service. A+++

Don’t call the store because you’ll end up wasting about 30mins of your time to just get hung up on multiple times. I was told the delivery guy was gonna call me 30 mins before hand but the plumber called me which was not expected and told me the delivery guy and he was gonna show up in 5mins. I also called Home Depot install service department and told them I wanted install service done on the 16th and not today but at least they were kind to us. There was a lot of miscommunication going on!

Diabolical service. Only delivered 1 of 5 pallets on order. All fence panels were missing. Spent over an hour on the phone getting a run around before being told they’d deliver balance next day and would call back to confirm because it was lunch time (not kidding). Confirmed with the labor to schedule work based on what I was told. No call back (or any notification) for >4 hours and after calling the store again, and spending another 15 minutes on hold, I got told they scheduled a delivery for the missing 4 pallets 3 days out. Started getting a sob story from supervisor about logistics companies. Home Depot used to be pretty solid but it’s gone down the tubes. I lose 3 days on a job and they couldn’t care less. How do you not load 4 of the 5 pallets on an order onto the truck? Nobody checked (incompetent) or they did it on purpose because they he no room. 4/5 pallets missing is an egregious error. Diabolical.
