The City of Farmington, NM has done a great job preparing Lake Farmington to be more recreational friendly. However, to be 100% rec-friendly, it needs a maintained hiking trail around the Lake as well as (most importantly) TREES AT THE CAMPSITES.

Great place to have fun and fish. Or you could go swimming, camping or offroading

Went camping #13 was on hill so windy. Ground very rocky and hard. Had to use 9 inch nails steaks for tent. Was not clean and had alot of broken glass so no bare feet. Overall had good food and good time together
