Good selection of tools. Most of them are more made on the cheap end of the scale but good if you don't have a lot of money

Great place for inexpensive tools. Don't expect them to last a lifetime, but they will get you through. Helpful staff.

Have purchased thousands of dollars worth of tools here at Harbor Freight. Granted...these tools are throw away cheap knock off tools. I am a retired mechanic and am accustomed to using Snap-On, Mac, Matco, Starett, Brown and Sharpe, ect. Brand name, guaranteed tools. But in October of 2021 I was rebuilding the ring and pinion in my pickup and needed a 12 ton shop press and a slide hammer puller. Didn't want to spend a lot on a tool I was going to use once, so I purchased these from Harbor Freight. I was offered a one year extended warranty on the press, and after discussing it with the salesman, declined because he assured me that if I had any issues at all I could return it and exchange it for another same jack. I took it home and assembled it and used it the next day. The following day I noticed oil leaking out of the jack. After looking closely, I noticed it was leaking directly through the cast iron base. Poor pig iron cast iron. Porous. Don't make it into Bangor often. So Yesterday I had a eye doctor appointment so I carried them in with me to exchange them. They refused to exchange them. I told him I only used them once and they both broke. He didn't care. He said " I don't know what to tell you". I said "I know what to tell you then, I'll never buy tools here again if you don't stand behind your word or tools". I opened the puller box and dumped the tools outside the door onto the ground as people coming into the store looked in astonishment. I told them that this business doesn't stand behind their products, and to not trust what they say when you buy tools there. I'm tired of these businesses cropping up here in Maine just to shaft us. Don't support these businesses.

The staff is friendly and I love the variety of tools and equipment they sell! They just don't always keep everything in stock! I have had to go to another store location due to this. This store is in a major area location though. Last 4 purchase still being used on a regular basis.

When the item is shipped, you should have been sent an email with the tracking info.
The same as everywhere else: masks are required and social distance of at least 6 feet. There are signs where to stand in line and there are plexiglass partitions at the checkouts. But mostly, common sense must be used.
You can do online orders and it ships within a weeek
I'm not a fan of this junk pile. Anything I've purchased here has turned out badly. I suggest you look elsewhere for what you need. It may cost more but it won't be broken coming out of the box
I wouldn't recommend them though. Get a Diehard battery charger instead.
Yes they are open. Big sale.
