This is the best gun store in AZ. I have purchased a couple guns from here and every time it was quick and easy. The staff is great and they have the best prices in town on guns and ammo. Plus who doesn't like sales? They do sales all the time and it's actually good inventory that goes on sale!

I just bought my first gun at Ammo AZ. Buying your first gun can be rather intimidating, at least it was for me. We first shopped at another large gun retailer located in Glendale. At their store you have to ask a salesperson to hand you each gun. On the first gun I asked to see, the salesman handed it to me and then berated me when I held it because my thumbs were not in the right place. Keep in mind, this was the first time I was handling a hand gun. I was already nervous and this was not the type of person I wanted to help me in my purchase. Months later my husband discovered Ammo AZ and encouraged me to try again. At Ammo AZ the guns are on display , tethered, but you are able to pick each one up. I loved that I could handle as many as I wanted, at my leisure without feeling rushed or being judged. The sales people were friendly and knowledgeable. They circulated and were readily available for questions or to give opinions when asked but they did not hover and I was able to take my time in making a decision. Their pricing was also very competitive.

Great family owned business. Absolutely love this shop. Customer service is top notch weather on the phone in person, or via email. They even have superb service when using them to do transfers. Always a great selection of firearms and ammo on hand. I recommend them to anyone looking for a good LGS. Even if you're just browsing what's on hand they're knowledgeable and willing to answer all your questions. As an added bonus they're even pet friendly.

Awesome local store. Love the fact you can walk around and take your time looking at firearms instead of having to wait for someone to help you pull something out from a glass counter. Super chill buying environment. Great selection of handguns, AR's, and AR builder parts despite the current supply issues. Bought ammo today and they have no purchase amount restrictions. This place is now in my top 3 of favorite gun stores in the valley. Check them out if you haven't yet, you won't be disappointed.
