Good place to cool off with a different kind of cool treat. Frozen custard ? I've never heard of it until I came to Maine, and I gotta say if you've never tried it, this is a great place for a first timer. Absolutely delicious.

Amazing place with kind people. I can here on a sunny day , and it was the perfect treat. Each scoop is the size of a softball, so to be able to get two scoops of frozen custard in a waffle bowl for only $7 was the best treat I could ask for. I got the coffee and vanilla flavors, and my friend got the strawberry and vanilla flavors in a cake cone. There was a chocolate flavor as well that we didn't try , and we also didn't try the flavor of the day, chocolate M&M, even though it sounded amazing. All of the flavors we ordered were amazing, and even though it was only my first time there, I am already planning trips to go back. I didn't get to try the vegan ice cream or the sundaes , but those will definitely be had in the future. The frozen custard is the same price as the vegan ice cream, and the prices are more than reasonable. Can't recommend enough!

We have visited 3 times in a 2 week period, ordered the exact same soft serve twist each time the total is different. $8.53, $7.50 and the last time it jumped to $9.49!!! The 3rd visit one cone was regular sized and the 2nd cone was half the size. I ask why is one so small, and I was told because another person made it. Refused to make them even. But charged the same price. Also. She was willing to make a kid sized cone to show and throw away, but not make the kid sized cone I was charged as a regular sized right. I ask why was my bill $2 higher from last time and said because you got a gluten free cone. I got it last time too. We will not go back. The soft serve was not any better than any other place and prices vary for same items along with who makes your cone if you get the same sized. MAINELY UNHAPPY with Mainely Custard

Excellent local custard shop! They serve vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry everyday, but also have a daily special which you can see on their website. Past that the portion size was great and the service fantastic - I can’t wait to go back!
