I just live in the neighborhood. I’m glad that they use reclaimed water, but for God’s sake with the current drought it is honestly infuriating to walk by every day and see the sprinkler watering the dirt and sidewalks all around the course. Would much rather people play here than Omni where they’re just taking our drinking water, but considering that farmers and whole towns are being shut off we should all really be doing our absolute best right now.

Golf course is in excellent condition. Staff is excellent. Restaurant is closed right now for remodeling.

I want to like this course, so I will come back another time and see if it was just a today/weekend thing. I suppose Saturday was the wrong day to go. It was just way too packed. People were teeing off 4 minutes before our time. Took 2 hours to get to the end of hole 6 and it was just my friend and I. We left early because we were not about to sit through 3 to 4 more hours that. Other courses I have been to have someone regulating play. I do not see why they feel they don't need one.

A fun course and very forgiving for those of us that don't have our PGA Tour Card. Just 18 holes and located on Westside of Tucson near Silverbell and Speedway. City Public Course and played 18 holes with a cart for $23 (not bad for summer rates ). Being that we are in midsummer the course was a little dry, but the tee boxes and greens were nice. El Rio Golf Course is the place for a summer golf deal and good time! Recommend :)

Yes, and golf clubs, golf carts, too.
No. Rates are about to increase because of the cooler months and more players.
I guess it depends on who you golf with, it is a good beginner course, of course you are going to get a few stray balls. I can garrantee you hit a few wild shots in your day. It is an easy course for a beginner, and should be treated as such.
Child??
Sunrise to sunset, but you would need to check to see what their first and last tee times are if you are wanting to golf. As for the range I think that is based on if they have clinics going on.
