It's hard to give a DMV 5 stars cause it's just not a pleasant place to visit. But the gentleman at the door was very knowledgeable and told me the documents I would need and even though I didn't bring everything I was happy to get that information at the door and not after waiting in the long line. I did return with the documents and everyone from start to finish were nice and helpful. I was in and out in 30 minutes. I am new to Tucson and I am very impressed with the service at this location.

Arizona decided to suspend my registration Because they said my insurance company did not send themProof of. my insurance. I received a notice before I went out of state.. It said I had 15 days, Of which 5 or so were in the mail. When I called they said I needed to have my insurance company send proof of my insurance which I've had forever. My insurance company said they had sent it and would send it again. But because Arizona did not receive it they suspended my Registration. They put the car owner between the large corporate insurance companies and their problem of receiving the information rather than fixing The connectivity problem. I have lived in many States as a service member and Arizona is the only state that's had a problem communicating with the insurance companies. But don't worry, they won't fix it they'll just suspend suspend the driver's registration. It's easier.

The gentleman that was staff at the door entrance guided me immediately and got my photo taken. A short time in line afterwards and Donna was the best on the computer giving me quick, courteous, and efficient service. I was done in no time and got everything done in one trip. Excellent staff and a great outcome for me.

It's frightening the type of people they hire and their attitudes. I had to tell the first guy at the door 5 times I only needed to renew my motorcycle learners permit which is $7 for a piece of paper. He kept saying something totally different than I was explaining. Then he tells me to get in a line and then they wanted to take my picture for a new driver's license? I said I only need the permit renewed. Not a new driver's license I just got 2 months ago. He said everyone that walks in the door must pay for a new driver's license. What kind of insanity is this? I said forget it I'll go to another office .
