I have a Zoysia lawn and needed to replace some areas. No one really carries sod on a regular basis but they had some very nice zoysia plugs and I bought a couple trays. In helping to support a local business I also bought my topsoil and mulch there. Green Thumb Nursery has been in business about 70 years and is a generational family business. Get out and support the Green Thumb Nursery.

Visited on Tuesday with a list of plants, fertilizers, my soil test results, photos, etc.to finish a landscape renovation project as things were tired and overgrown and just had trees trimmed and shrubs removed by an arborist. My hope was to leave with a few things purchased and hire Green Thumb to deliver and install mulch and sod and also suggest and install some shrubs. . I walked around the center to view the plants and they had a nice selection. When I went inside the building and stood at the register for several minutes and again no one came to help me. There was a woman in the office but did not interrupt as did not see if on phone, etc. I walked outside again and the same two men were walking around taking, could not see anyone working to wait my turn so gave up and left wondering who was minding that business.. Maybe I had to fill out the web form to get any attention or service? Given the other reviews I don't know if they only staff on weekends or ignored me as a woman or my age or what the issue was. Frustrating and a waste of time. I would suggest look elsewhere as same shrubs and plants as at Home Depot and Lowes and those employees actually greet you and facilitate your purchase. Tried to support a local business and prepared to pay for the convenience of a one stop shop. There is a nice sod company nearby on Linebaugh and mulch can be sourced many places.

Very nice nursery with a nice selection of plants to choose from. Staff there have always been super polite and friendly and willing to help you and your specific landscaping needs.

Beautiful place! Loved all of the variety of plants, trees, shrubs etc. Also sells Christmas trees when it's holiday time they are a little pricey for the Christmas trees but their selection was way better than other stores.
