First off the rude guy at the counter was telling everyone it was going to take 1 1-2 hour wait for pizza. My nephew from out of town wanted to eat there because we used to go a lot when he was a child. I was ready to go someplace else as the guy behind the counter was very rude. I ordered zucchini and he said it will be 25 minutes for that. I said we are waiting 1 1/2 hour for pizza so what’s 25 minutes. When I went to pay I said how do you by pass the tipping part on the credit machine… he ignored me … so I was forced to apply a tip for the crappie attitude and long service times. We ordered beer 3 glasses. When we wanted another beer we were told we needed to bring the glasses back up to the counter … they only had 3 glasses. …. Anything fried was horrible… grease needs to be changed and was over cooked. Our appetizers came out 1hr and 45 minutes later…after the pizza. You advertise your patio which is dirty and locked. I will never return to this location. And you lost over thirty customers that night that I know of they just walked out after they made contact with your register employee.

Person taking orders is very rude! Went for another beer and he said they didn't have more glasses, so they needed the ones we had. So they only have 3 glasses in the whole restaurant? Took forever to get order. No one in restaurant but us. Wont be back!

I have been eating at Mama's for 35+ years and have loved so many experiences there. When our kids were younger they loved sitting around the colorful fountain and playing the arcade games. The food and service were always friendly and family oriented. I even had my husband bring a deluxe sub to the hospital after our daughters were born. About a decade ago we noticed a decline in quality and customer service at this store, which is our neighborhood shop. After years of not ordering from here, we decided to give it another try a few weeks ago. We ordered a large pizza and a family size salad. The pizza was so-so, sauce was not adequate and toppings were minimal. The salad had a lot of slimy pieces in it, so we decided to return it to the store, especially since the price tag is $24.95. When we arrived, Jay was working the counter. To say he was not amused we were returning the food would be an understatement. We asked for a refund for the salad and he told us the store policy was only $15 would be allowed for returns. After letting him know that this was not acceptable, that we would talk to the manager the next day for clarification. As we were leaving he yelled at us across the store, not going to repeat what he said, but it is no wonder there were no guests sitting in the restaurant. It used to be full on a Friday night. This was three weeks ago. I have spoken to Dominic and Freddie several times with the promise of some response from management, but nothing. Called Liz at the Speedway store only to be told they no longer managed that location. It is too bad that once amazing restaurants end in such decline due to bad management. They have received the last order from us

Mama's Pizza Italian Combo Hero is best enjoyed with a friend. Get it oven baked which toasts the outside of the bread just right, and melts the cheese. Then they top it with a generous amount of veggies. House-made vinaigrette on the side allows you to add just the right amount. All for a well worth it price of$10.95.
