I hesitate to share this gem. We found it by accident...funny how often that happens. We had a tremendous French onion soup, mussels in white wine sauce, and a great Cab Franc. To top it off the service was excellent. Great food, great people, we'll be back.

After reading the numerous positive reviews, I made a reservation for Valentine's Day dinner with my wife. I wanted so much to enjoy a romantic dinner based on everything I had heard about the food, service and atmosphere. However, our experience was so not worth the expense and the food was just average. First of all, we were not aware of the fixed price menu until we sat down at a very small "table for two". The $120/person menu was priced much higher than the quality of food that was served. My wife ordered the scallops & pork, which consisted of 3 scallops atop 3 pieces of pork belly and a few pieces of broccoli. While the scallops were very tasty, they were overpowered by the beet sauce. My "medium rare" rib eye steak was tough, very thin and cooked well done. On the side was the empty shell of a single prawn and 2 small shrimp. Certainly not worthy of our expectations or the pricing. Dessert consisted of a small raisin roll and a sliver of cheesecake with an oreo crust, not worthy of this establishment. Service was spotty, as there was not a lot of follow up once we were seated. Our server never came to the table after we received our food to ask if everything was okay. They seemed under staffed on a very busy night. In summary, with a reasonably priced bottle of wine, our bill came to over $300, tip not included. I would not recommend Le Rendez-vous for a special occasion!

5 stars 🌟 What a great night we had, with an amazing service and exceptional food. Be sure to ask the server about the history of the restaurant. We left with the realization that we just had the best meal we ever ate in Tucson.

Lovely small place, fills up quickly. Make reservations to be sure you get a table. Wine selection was great, dinner was delicious and service was attentive. I would definitely go again.
