Came here to get long layers and face frame/ bang trim . The woman who cut my hair was really nice, and had good bedside manners . But I was not impressed by the Tim so had to leave , my bangs were not blended at all and I even had to ask for something to be fixed when it was done because it was uneven. I had to end up having my hair fixed at another salon and thankfully they did an amazing job. Again - the stylist was really nice but I had to get my hair fixed .

I went to this place yesterday because my previous experiences were good and the last time was 3 months ago but unfortunately that wasn’t the situation yesterday. My daughter for short haircut close to her chin with bangs while for me a short cut shave on the sides & back with bangs over eyebrows and I even showed a pic to the hairstylist who worked on my hair. None of the two hairstylists did what we asked for and we just wanted out of there without repeating ourselves anymore for what we wanted for our haircuts and without making a show due to our disappointment. I don’t know if there was a change of ownership but none of the hairstylists from 3 months ago were there, the one that worked on my hair 3 months ago don’t work there anymore and he was able to create the cut I was expecting with no problem. Even worse their restroom was out of service and the employees were saying the owner had been there to fix but it was still the same not working. Super disappointing experience. 😠

My wife took our young son in for a haircut. This is usually a nightmare. Denise talked to him, joked w him, n he settled down. She's really good with children. She did a great cut. Highly recommended shop, professional, courteous and good price. New note: I found out, this week, that Denise, my son's barber has moved locations. Denise is now working as the Great Clips Largo shop on Starkey Rd. Only 5 miles from this shop, so the drive is well worth her expertise.

Update 3/30/2022: I needed a quick trim and decided to come here since my son comes here and we've had great experiences with him. I checked in while leaving work (I work in south tampa). I got here and only waited 5mins (less than my remaining time!). I showed a quick picture of how I wanted my hair trimmed and she did just that! I was in and out under 10mins 😃 best part was I only paid $17. My normal salon just for a trim would have been $65 (but that's also with wash, blow dry and style). I took my son here for the first time and really loved it. I typically avoid chain hair salons because it's usually not a great cut but my sons haircut not only was exactly what we asked for but it was so fast and we had no wait. You can check in online and see the wait time first. The salon was clean and the 2 hairstylist working were really nice and friendly. I typically take my son to my uncles salon but he was very busy and couldn't squeeze him in that day. But this may be my new usually spot. The price point was the same and the salon was so clean.

Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
