Why have I not left a raving review before now?? I moved to Concord in 2006 and was recommended a couple other places that I did not like, then I was craving my hometown Chinese food and I asked somebody else and they suggested Dragon Star, they said they loved it! Well so do I. I've only been to one other place since and there's no comparison that place was disgusting I love Dragon Star the food is always fresh, it is priced right and they give you so much!! I usually get Chinese food a couple times a year and this is the only place I will go and in the 15 years I've lived in this area I've only had one order where they forgot to add something, that's remarkable customer service in my opinion!! I'm sure not everyone has the same taste as usually we're used to what we grow up with it's a nostalgia thing same with pizza lots of people like different versions of pizza but I'm so glad I found this place that is so close to what I grew up with!!

I had a few minutes and had been craving fried rice for about two weeks so i stopped in for a quick order of house fried rice to go, I was the only customer there sitting my order but getting the pint of rice took about 15 minutes then when I get home and open it up i was immediately able to discern that they were out of fried rice at the moment and in a hasty corner cutting move to fill my order they decided to take white rice and mix it with the meat and vegetable fillings of house rice and put it in a container and send me on my way. I am completely beside myself with what just happened, and disgusted with the manor they were willing to let their food be presented to a customer, and laughed when I saw that on their website they claimed "Dragon Star features authentic Chinese food to take out, our cooks are masters in the art of preparing the finest quality Szechuan, Hunan and Cantonese dishes."
