The majority of the population which Daystar serves are not as fortunate as yourself to own a vehicle; they walk, bike or utilize public transportation. Perhaps you could consider contacting the community center across the street and ask if you could park. Real estate is at a premium in St. Petersburg. Daystar operated for decades at 3rd Ave. S. & 6th St. S. in a building with 72% less space and almost non-existent parking. The new facility houses a playroom for children, a computer room for the public, a kitchen for cooking demonstrations, expanded mailroom area, a waiting area for clients which is 68% larger, multi-purpose meeting and private interviewing offices, a large food pantry and an organized clothes closet. The community garden provides therapy for those in need of it as well as fresh produce. What a great trade-off for limited parking! 😀😛😝😜

Bring your bill into Daystar...there will be someone there who will help you to apply for assistance. Have an ID or driver's license with you. You will be given a number and may need to take a seat and wait, but a volunteer will assist you as soon as one is available. It is important to note that you should go early, as it gets very busy and you may run the risk of there not being time to assist everyone that day...

You can't really. But you just pay what you can and if they want to evict you have 10 days to respond in writting once you get served then another 3-5 weeks to save and have a hearing. So you got a month or so to get the rent. Tell your guy to drink lots of cranberry juice and he'll be tip top in no time. You can't get much without the eviction notice...but once you get one you can try salvation army or local churches by going door to door n asking for help from the church.
