So Fat Dave's is a really good dinner in Hazel Dell ! The portions are huge as you can tell by the picture. It was two meals honestly. My favorite thing to get there is country fried steak and eggs with red potatoes.

If you like the old school vibe we're everyone knows each other and the staff are genuine, colorful characters. This is the place. The food is good and consistent. You definitely won't leave hungry. Daily specials are good.

I had family visiting from out of town. They arrived pretty late, and by the time we could go out for dinner, it was about 9pm. Of course, a lot of places had their diners closed at 9pm, but Fat Dave's said they were open 24 hours. When we arrived about 9:30pm, the waitress said the grill was off, so they were closed. So much for 24 hours. The dining room and building also looked like it was run down and had a strange odor to it, like I was visiting a run down old home. I've never eaten here before and frankly I don't think I ever will.

The resultant is a little run down but from well use and not neglect it looks like, it is clean and the staff is very friendly. I had the chicken fried steak breakfast with hasbrowns and basted eggs. Every bite was awesome! The gravy had big nice chunks of sausage in it!

Yes
Yes, a dog with a voice box is, indeed, "aloud" ( I do thisbwhen tired too). No, it would violate NUMEROUS health codes. Those with severe allergies to dogs would be in a dreadfully, uncomfortable position. If this is a registered service animal, that yes, dogs are permitted. In fact i believe you can register a miniture horse.

Dont know if the same waitresses work there but the food is great , I recommend the 4x6 burger or patty melt, they are the bomb
