We came here for ski clothing rentals and couldn’t have asked for a better service. The jacket, pants, and gloves were very good quality. We could not find clothing rentals anywhere else in anchorage. We also rented ski gear another time and they were super helpful and accommodating to our needs.

Alaska Outdoor Gear Rental was great. I highly recommend them. The 2 of us wanted to go skiing in Alyeska, but didn't bring any gear with us. We needed the whole package- clothes, boots, skis, poles, headgear, everything. This place had it all for a very reasonable price. They were so helpful in fitting us perfectly for our gear. They were also incredibly flexible with picking up and returning everything. We came in early the day prior to our ski adventure in order to get fitted and have everything ready to pick up the next morning. However, after the fitting, they let us take everything right then and there, allowing us to avoid making another trip to the store to pick everything up the next morning! Very customer-oriented and willing to work with flexible schedules. Dropping off the gear was also a breeze. We weren't going to be back in the city until after their store closed, so they had gave us easy instructions for an after-hours drop off. So convenient! I would definitely rent from them again!

This no fuss gear rental place is great, I always get my skiis here but they also have kayaks and even bear spray. The staff is very understanding and reasonable if there is ever a slight issue. Like one time part of the plastic on the pole broke, but they understood. You can book online or just texting them is really easy. I have brought visitors here and it is so simple and less complicated than renting in Alyeska. You can have the equipment for 24 hrs and return it at just about any time.

Amazing service and attentive advice about the surrounding areas, bike paths, and terrain. I thought I would get a cruiser to cruise the bike path next to the ocean. They offered a nice mountain bike and it was perfect because I didn’t realize the HILLS to get there! Definitely wear a helmet and you can ride the sidewalks here safely - the drivers in the cars are a little faster than you would expect.

They have all kinds of outdoor gear. Check their website or call them.
Tents, sleeping bags, cookware, fishing poles and gear plus much more. It seemed like they had almost everything you would need for a great camping trip!
Hi Dan, Just seeing this message. We have several options and different types and sizes. Most people take our inflatable kayaks. What size RV? What is a good email to send more info. Thanks, Dave
We have 9 and 10 ft kayaks people float creeks or some rivers in. We do not have actual whitewater kayak.
