I have worked here for a month and I love how, everyone is family and so welcoming. I love how the residents are so sweet and so friendly. I couldn’t ask for a better place to work and call these fakes, family.

I have lived here for the last 3 years. The staff is very friendly and always knocks before entering my room and I appreciate that. The food is very tasty and I always have options. The building is not new but it is very well kept and they keep everything clean. The housekeeping staff is very good and I enjoy activities with Alexis.

Lake Morton Plaza is a great community. The staff is very friendly with the residents. It is like a big family! Alexis, the activities director is the best around!! She’s very organized and always planning fun events, including live music and other entertainment. Lake Morton Plaza is also very convenient for residents that are looking for aging in place. All of their apartments are licensed for assisted living and the residents wound not have to move out of their apartment should their needs change. I strongly recommend taking a tour! The staff is nice and the food is delicious!!

Nice rooms. Friendly. Trouble keeping elevators functional. Food service and quality is inconsistent. Takes forever to eat. Timely maintenance is a huge issue. Also, my mother was injured when one of their folding tables collapsed. Took over 6 months to heal, including 3 days in a hospital. One of their employees saw it happen, and exclaimed that the table had collapsed 3 or 4 times before, yet they keep using it. When it came time to give her deposition, she lied and said she wasn't even there! So management is threatening to fire someone if she tells the truth. Also, this used to be a primarily assisted living facility with some independent residents. But they are so desperate to make more money, that they have been accepting any Medicaid people that apply. Which means they now have a huge percentage of people with severe senility who should be in nursing homes. Some are dangerous to the others. Not a healthy situation and no where near as nice s place to live as 8 years ago. Avoid at all costs.
