Trick Dog U has been a great experience. Lisa, trainer has so much experience and is very patient with the dog parents and extremely helpful with ideas on how to get your dog to do what is being taught without getting frustrated. My puppy has come a long way from when we walked in the first class. I would highly recommend Lisa, Trainer of Trick Dog U.

Best place to help you and your dog work out any issues! Lisa is fantastic, she really knows dogs and how to train them. She is helping with Moms very reactive Bostons. They are on their way to living their best life thanks to Lisa's suggestion and plan. Also take my catahoula/dane/mastiff mix to Lisa. She really pays attention to what you need help with and helps you put a plan in place to get rid of unwanted behaviors. Cant wait to start the scent work agility class. Great website!!

My pup and I have taken 2 courses and done the service dog eval with Lisa at Trick Dog U. Our experience has been great. The drop in class was awesome as we had our time to complete the course but she always made sure to focus on what each student needed and meet them where they were at. The advanced class has been a lot of fun as it brings you to the real world - it is held at a park - and you really get to see how much your dog has learned and what they need to work on in a more real world environment. Lisa is an excellent trainer and has been a lot of help. We will be continuing taking classes here!

Lisa! Lisa! Lisa! I cannot give her enough credit! I am a disabled Veteran. I was fortunate to be connected with K9 Heroes for Our Heroes whom directed me to (drumroll) LISA!!! Lisa invited me and my 5 month old female German Shepherd to her facility. She observed her behaviors and began developing the best plan for my puppy. It will be approximately 2 years before my puppy completes the required training to become a Service Dog. I am in awe at the knowledge Lisa has to share. Her training is often observed as interaction with the animal, when in fact, I can say I learn everyday when I am in class with her. Great advice for socialization, bad behaviors, tricks, agility, puppy training, intermediate training, service dog training, calming techniques, and so much more!

I believe you asking about Service Dog Training... If so, yes. The dogs that successfully complete my Service Dog program and pass a Public Access test do receive a Certified Service Dog Certification.
Hi Dolores, Yes we do. The organization we partner with for Therapy dogs requires your dog obtain their AKC Canine Good Citizen title which can be obtained in our Intermediate Obedience class or if you read test privately. We also offer a Pet Therapy Prep curriculum. With COVID 19 Pet Therapy Prep Classes have not been popular once, it looks like the schools and nursing homes will allow Therapy work to resume we will get a class scheduled.
