Knuckle Sandwiches

Hubby and I had lunch here this afternoon after my hair appointment. I got a pastrami sandwich. I changed it up a bit from how it’s listed on the menu. I got it on a Kaiser white roll instead of rye with mayo instead of mustard and pepper jack cheese instead of Swiss, with pickles. Best pastrami sandwich I’ve ever had. I got a medium size which comes with 6 ounces of meat (small comes with 3 ounces and large comes with 9 ounces of meat). Hubby got a basil pesto turkey panini and said it was the best he’s ever had. Got a bag of “Dirty Chips” in Maui Onion flavor to go with the sandwiches. Best chips around, but can usually only find it at a deli. I want to try the fried bologna sandwich next!! 4/13/2022 Update: I usually get the pastrami sandwich here, but today decided to try the meatball sub. Oh man, the best meatball sub I’ve ever had! It was so tasty and the sauce had a slight kick to it. The meatballs are a good size too. The bread was soft, but slightly toasted. My new favorite at Knuckles!!

Just tried to take down the Dagwood. Good heavens. THAT is a sammich right there. Turkey, ham, roast beef, coleslaw, cucumbers, two cheeses, cucumbers, olives .. like 4 more things that I can't remember. Super stuff.

It was our first time in and it was soooooooo good! We walked in and the girl at the counter was incredibly friendly, and took the time to ask us questions about our day. We ordered the meatball, knuckle and cuban sandwiches and none of them disappointed. Portions were perfect and flavors were good! Personally got to give the owner the compliment and he was so kind. Restaurant was clean and vibe was good:) Highly recommend if you’re in the area and hungry!
