The handheld dessert sensation, donut bun stuffed with handcrafted artisan ice cream is available in 12 flavors with rotating selection and vegan options. They use brand name cereal as the toppings! I got it with coffee ice cream and Cap' N' Crunch and found it excellent in taste and portion size. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is walking distance for locals but even contains a small parking lot. This would be great to return with friends in the cool months with the patio. I came out at 12:30pm in the middle of a heat wave because I'm a psycho but it is quick to eat and get back inside.

Great ice cream selections with unique flavors. Must try when you visit Phoenix. The only downside is the long line, but definitely worth it. I tried their butter pecan, so smooth and creamy. I also tried their honey lavender, not a fan of it since the lavender is a little strong. But it might work for those who love lavender. I might try another flavor next time. But butter pecan is highly recommended!

I got Hawaiian Delight with sprinkles in a donut. Really good!! I will say that the donut does almost cover the flavor of the ice cream in this case. Next time I'll try just the ice cream. They make their own ice cream in small batches, so they can run out of popular flavors. Enjoy!!

Another discovery while researching for ice cream shops in downtown, have literally never seen a place with five stars on over 900 reviews. I was curious about the place and wanted to try out what the hype was all about. The shop is located in a very cute area, there are other stores as well novel ice cream is a nice pink color small shop in the group. You were greeted by a very friendly staff, given that this was our first time at the ice cream place explained the different options and also the dough Melt. Based on the information provided the place has one a number of awards for their ice creams as well as donut ice cream. Fun I wanted to try the Dough Melt and went with a recommendation on ice cream, it lived up to the hype was delicious and was gone in less than 90 seconds. Really enjoyed the warm exterior of the donut with the cold ice cream and the crisps in the middle giving it a burst of flavors and textures in every bite. Overall really unique experience and we absolutely enjoyed it. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an ice cream place in downtown Phoenix to try it out.

Hi there! We are currently offering window service from our patio on the North side of our cottage. All customers on our service patio are required to wear masks. If a customer doesn't have a mask, we have complimentary disposable masks available. We have social distancing markers clearly placed on the service patio and customers + groups arriving together are encouraged to stick together around each marker. We have contactless payments enabled and rotate individually sanitized styluses for those customers whose cards require a signature. We encourage those individuals who may want to avoid the presence of a line to stop by during our less busy hours. Those times are generally 12pm-5pm Tues-Saturday, and all day Sunday. If you are a particularly high risk individual, please contact us via Instagram, Facebook, or by phone and we would be happy to arrange a way for you to enjoy our ice cream in the safest manner possible for you :)
Yes! There are always two dairy free flavors of sorbet available.
I did not notice that they have the larger containers. They have like the five gallon tubs and they get their ice cream from a number of different sources so I don't think they actually making it the ice cream there
Hi Susan, We have 8 staple flavors that we try to keep in stock at all times and 4 flavors that consistently rotate. Although we don't currently have any prickly pear ice cream, we recently made a trip to a cactus ranch in Tucson to source Prickly Pear syrup for doing Prickly Pear ice creams and sorbets in the spring. Follow our social media pages to see when we roll those out as that's where we announce new and upcoming rotated flavors :)
