I’ve had State Farm for the past 9 years. I’ve had Kirk as my agent for a little over a year and a half in that time. This office has shown the worst customer service I have ever seen with State Farm. Highly DO NOT recommend. State Farm is a great insurance company with great value, however you need to find the right agent and Kirk is not the right one. Don’t be fooled with being given an automatic agent, you can pick you own agent and I highly recommend you find a new agent but stay with State Farm. Kirk doesn’t care about his customers and you’ll find someone who can do the job much better.

I have had insurance with State Farm since I was 18 and this location is the first office that made me consider leaving State Farm. They have horrible customer service and think they are too good/too busy to deal with their own customers- don’t worry I switched agents. A few months ago I moved and needed to update my rental insurance policy, when I called in I was told the policy was running over a bit so there would be no payment due at the time and they would either call me or send a bill for the payment. A few months later, and I get a cancellation notice in the mail. They never tried reaching out for payment before the policy was cancelled. I called in again to try to fix it and was told the policy needed to be looked over by underwriting and then they would call me back for the payment. A few weeks later, I never received a call so I called in again to check on the process and to see if I could make a payment. I spoke with Alex, who was unbelievably rude from the beginning. He had no concern for me as his customer whatsoever. He claimed he couldn’t reach out to underwriting or give me an explanation as to if my policy was ready to make a payment on. When I told him I was considering switching agents, he told me I was no longer his customer and he had nothing else to say to me. I asked to speak with someone other than him who might be willing to help me, but he said it was just him and his kids in the office. He is too busy babysitting his kids to give you a call and ask for a simple payment. I understand things are tough during the pandemic, but this was a really simple task that he neglected because he was busy babysitting while at work. I would have easily stayed here if Alex just did his job, but he’d rather do nothing and not help his customers. He will have no concern over your general well being or safety. Zero willingness to help out. LOOK ELSEWHERE- plenty of other agents in the area that will take much better care of you.
