Nicer neighborhood than nearby home depots... But that comes with pros and cons. No sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot, no trash, etc. But the store is small and cramped. Lumber carts do not easily fit down all the aisles and there is no roll up door exit if you're buying large materials.

I went to pickup a single light bulb I put in an order for online, and the girl getting it from 2 feet away, completely drops it. The light bulb didn't break, but I was thinking, really?? She had one job, but it's ok if she is clumbsy.. ill let it pass this time.

Brain Dead

So I need a very basic item; an angle bracket. I find myself in the fasters aisle (aisle 20) and am not finding it. There is a pretty little lady also trying to find some screws and fasteners for her bike. We can't find anyone to help. I go to the register and ask for help. I went in the back where there's 4 guys shooting the sH|t in the back and ask them for help . "Oh, yeah, aisle 20, look on the end cap, it's there..." NOPE. I (we) are needing some help after 20 minutes on aisle 20 where all the screws and specialty fasteners are. Remember the frustration we've all had when looking for something very specific on aisle 20" We've all been there. I keep asking where the "old guy who knows everything" is. Oh, he's on his lunch hour they said. Have I looked they asked. I just need a little help here (as does the girl still looking for her screws). I flagged down one woman in the orange apron - who actually helped me. Sam. Even the register calling for help - didn't help me as much as you did. It's not her department, but that's ok. She found "the guy" who tells us the item I need is on aisle 15, where we find it immediately. A few minutes later I swing back by aisle 20 and she's helping the Girls With The Bike. Outstanding. Zero stars for the dudes in the back who didn't care, and bum-steered me to the end-cap. A million stars for Sam. Sam should be running this department, and fire "the dudes" in the back. As far as "the old guy" is concerned - I hope he had a great lunch - and thank him for helping Sam. All props for Sam. She understands that people, actually most people - need, or could use a little help at the Tustin Home Depot.
