If you were validly served with a subpoena or otherwise ordered by a judge to go to court, you could have a warrant issued for your arrest. If a warrant is issued, you could be taken into custody or taken to court by law enforcement. Of course, no warrant SHOULD go out unless there is proof that you were actually served with the subpoena. If you were handed the subpoena or if you actually read the warrant, that would count as actual service and a lawyer has to tell you that you are required to go to court under those circumstances. If on the other hand you we're not personally handed the subpoena or if you did not personally read the subpoena, I would argue that you have not been personally served and you may not have to appear in court. To get a specific answer under your circumstances you would be best advised to speak directly to a licensed attorney in your area.
