The pier and surrounding area is breathtaking. Nice walks at night and plenty of places to shop, eat and party. I took pictures at night.

I took my parents over there and they loved it! Little bit cold after sunset so don’t forget to take a jacket no matter how hot the day is.

Seal beach is known for wide, sandy expanses and several great surf spots make Seal Beach a favorite community among locals, and conditions are ideal for kitesurfing, windsurfing, and building sandcastles. Location: On the coast, approximately 28 miles east of Los Angeles - between the cities of Long Beach and Huntington Beach. This quiet, down-to-earth community is the perfect seaside destination to visit when you need a getaway from LA, San Diego, or larger cities in Orange County. Seal Beach represents that quintessential California “sleepy beach town” with quaint neighborhoods, eclectic shopping, and small-town appeal.

Cozy pier & beach. Very clean & great for having a fun time with friends & family. There are public restrooms & showers. Just across the street, you will find plenty of restaurants, ice cream shops, pan cakes & coffee shops. One can spend a full day there

When I went the pier was open for fishing
I saw couple of guys fishing over there but did not see anyone renting them on the pier. But you can always google it find out any nearby rents.
The pier is around 1835 feet long, 6th longest in the west coast & around 20 feet shorter than Huntington beach pier
No dogs allowed
No, I believe only bikes are allowed. Mopeds I think are not allowed either
No, this pier closes at 10pm
6AM - 10PM
I think the pier is still closed, but there are some shops open and I think I've been seeing some people sitting in restaurants eating. Certainly some places to take out and go eat at the beach because the beach is pretty much open.
Sadly it burned down several years ago, it has not been replaced. Currently there is a large open deck area where Ruby's once was. I believe there's still one on the Huntington Beach. You can visit It's not too far away.
There are restrooms, but only in one location. Underneath the pier next to the playground
Yes you can fish here with no license or permit and by the way you dont need a license to fish any California pier
4:30am to 10pm. But people are walking all night.
