I brought in my 2000 Acura TL. They were by far the cheapest shop within 60 miles. ($1400.00) They replaced my trans and a few months later at developed a shudder when shifting between 1st and 2nd. They said bring it in. After test driving they decided to replace it under warranty. But months later the second trans started slipping out of drive. I called them but they said since the original FIRST trans mileage warranty of 12,000 miles was expired that that second replacement trans wasn't covered. That second trans had less then 3,000 miles on it! I can't recommend California Transmission at all.

Way over two years and roughly 35k miles on my Odyssey transmission and she’s still going strong. Thanks Jr. For taking care of my family van. Next is my 08 Chevy Impala.

It took them 4 transmissions within 3 months to get me running properly on the road. Prior to that I had bad shifts, slippage, missing bolts, loose bolts, leaking gaskets. But now just before a year from my 4th proper transmission, I have a transmission that slips and has a crack half down it. Trucks now sitting. :/ Jr was nice and was able to try to fix it every time without charge, just couldn't get done.

My transmission went out in my 05 Silverado. I called a few shops in IE area and finally landed on California transmission in Ontario. I called and instantly got a price and was satisfied. When I picked it up the customer service was excellent. I did the work myself but the two guys I spoke to gave me some free advice to make the job easier. My truck is back on the road within 3 days from start to finish. No need to wait for a rebuild. If you’re in the market for a 4l60e this is the place to go!
