Busy busy busy friday night. Got sat immediately with no reservations. Wait staff super quick. Got our apps, drinks, main course so quick! Honestly a mind blowing restaurant experience. Food was amazing and is a Downtown LA must do!

It was good. Food was warm, delicious, and filling. I had their original enchilada plate. Was full of sauce, cheese, beans, and chicken. Plus, it had an egg and it was a perfect combination.. Our wait was longer than they told us and the buzzer did not buzz for us. Not until we went to ask did they sit us in. Lesson learned, don't wait outside, be close to the door because they were yelling out people's name. So, not sure why the buzzer was needed? Anyway, also no tapatio! For a Mexican restaurant in the heart of LA it's unusual, but that's just me. I love tapatio. Was a busy night so we didn't have much of the waiter, but he did the best he could with all the tables he was serving. Overall, good place, but over rated.

We went to the downtown location and I must say the setting was very pleasant not too bright or crowded for that matter. Food was delicious and waiter was very courteous as well. I got the Es un Milagro margarita and it came on a small tray with a candy next to it as part of their breast cancer donation charity...very thoughtful! Flan was delicious too 😋

I've never heard of this restaurant & I ate here the 1st time in LA 3 weeks ago. Learned that it has been in LA for decades & some celebrities & pro athletes came here when I photos of them. Had the steak fajitas which is my favorite Mexican dish & a bit similar to Burnt Tortilla.

I am not aware that parking is free here. There is a lot next to restaurant, but my husband is disabled so we usually use street parking in area using his placard. I believe that Sundays street parking is free.
Im my opinion your best bet with parking is at the L.A. Live parking garage; it's safer and less expensive.
Yes they have tortilla soup
The restaurant itself does not offer parking, however there are parking lots all around the restaurant all of them you have to pay for. So look for the cheapest and make sure you know the rest of the lot before you pay.
They don't open until 11:30.
From 4 to 7:00 p.m.
