Sad to see such a long time restaurant like Pepe's decline in the quality of food served. Prices have skyrocketed but the food quality have taken a nosedive. Been coming to this Telegraph location for years and started to notice after the passing of the founder, which a picture of (I presume) was taped onto the front windows honoring him a few years ago that a sort of restructuring was taking place. First I noticed they seemed to have a problem with the type of food containers because they originally started with styrofoam plates covered with a clear plastic top then about 3 years ago changed to a smaller one piece hinged styrofoam container, and now they're back to the original. Also the staff seems to be changing all the time except for one familiar cook who's been there for quite a while and does a good job btw. That's when I noticed that the hard shell tacos seemed a bit smaller and they had cut back on the bounty of cheese and lettuce/tomato added on top of the tacos. Then on another visit the chili verde plate consisted of small meat cubes and scarcely any green sauce and quite dry. On the most recent visit my brother ordered the 2 Chile relleno plate which he said he had ordered on other occasions but this time when we got home he showed me the plate which resembled two thick (yellow) egg omlettes with 2 green chilies stuffed inside each. I never ever seen a chili relleno prepared in this manner, certainly never made like my mom used to make . It wasn't the typical chili relleno which is dipped usually into a simple light fluffy egg batter and then fried or baked. He said the stuffed cheese was hard in places and couldn't eat it after taking two bites, and wound up throwing it away which BTW cost $13, so there went $13 down the drain. Needless to say they have likely lost another longtime customer.

2 times we had to clarify our order. 3 times we had to correct our order. The cashier says people make mistakes which is true but to make excuses for the team is not the way to run a business. The tables were dirty. The burger was not what we ordered. The bun was squished into 2. I should've taken a photo. Then the cheese was old, hard in areas and wasn't melted. I did take a picture of that and when we let the staff know the cashier said they'll look at the cheese. This location used to be run well, now it's lack of customer service skills is just disappointing.

Yes. We use ranchera (flap meat) for our carne asada. That is the most popular nachos sold at this location.
Is there a machaca & egg burrito served all day?
If you feel that this was serious, I.would seek legal advice. Occurrences like this is personal and should handled calmly. Remember this that reactions should be civil.
As of past week the drive through was open along with outdoor dining
