I liked the campground. The owner is really nice and we’ll watched over. The spaces are pretty generous and the campground is fun! The downsides are the bathrooms and the constant golf carts but once you get there you understand there needed for the mountain your on. The place was magical with all the lights campers had on at their sites. The people are nice and the place grows on you.

Love the owners. My wife and I go there for breakfast. It is amazing. Stop by this 4th of July weekend with the grandkids and even though they were sold out of passes to the water toy area they still allowed them to play. Great food and you can even get essentials from the store.

Spent memorial day weekend here and absolutely loved this place. We will definitely visit again.

This is a really beautiful campground and has a lot of great features. The lake and bluff ridge hiking trail was gorgeous and the playground was perfect for my kids. I was up on the top of the hill where the sites were very spacious and arguably the best (even though they're the farthest away). What I'm docking points for are things that can hopefully just be addressed by staff and then I'd of given 5. The one big issue I had was within the brochure there are listed quiet hours (10pm-8am) pointed out at check in and everyone was to be back at their site by that time but there was a group across from us that clearly had visitors over and was quite loud all night. I let it slide til around 1130 before finally trying to call to complain. No one answered and although the brochure listed a night security walked around, the noise kept on all night. I don't care that they were having fun, it was just much too loud. Secondly (and this is nothing truly major) but while there is a really fun swim area, the beach itself is very small for how big the campground is with minimal parking. And because the check in/store/restaurant is right next to beach and the boat docks, it does have a very congested feel. To be clear, we had a wonderful time and I do strongly recommend visiting! But would encourage more enforcement of quiet time by staff and to consider reorganizing or possible expansion of the main front area for the future. Thanks for the memories! ♡

The trailer's are just like being at home. Green spaces easy access to Lake and to the store.
There is detailed info on the scenicridgecampground.com website.
Most of the campground is on high ground with little standing water. In our experience the bugs have not been too bad. However it is camping, so expect some like flys and such.
Yes some shade, definitely bring bug spray the mosquitoes are bad in the evening
10$ for wristband to use the equipment on water, rafts, slide, bounce house
One outlet per site..typically a power bar is best to plug in and extension cord affording you numerous electrical outlet..the main supply will hold the ability to providers there are more outlets afforded at each site electric box ..dont be concerned this is a well laid out campground
Call them. Good place to go. Yes you can tent
No bar but bring your own. This place is the best.always something to do and great people.
