We loved it! The views are amazing. It was very well organized and flowed really well. We did not eat at the restaurant but it definitely had wonderful views. If you want to know the history they have the movie .. it was so hot in Palm Springs so we really enjoyed going from 116 degrees to 70’s! It is a nice day in nature with trails at the top as well.

I had a great time, beautiful views, and the food was good. Some of the workers were nice, but others probably should have stayed home. They have a couple of gift shops that have some neat stuff. I would have liked to see more items with the "Tram" theme rather then generic gifts. They also have a few spots that remind me of a museum with the artifacts they have and 2 small theater rooms that have videos of interesting facts. Overall a great time and will definitely be doing it again. The ride experience was great and the guys in charge of operating the tram were cool. Plenty of trails to explore once you reach the top or just sit down and enjoy the view while breathing in that fresh crisp air.

It gets pretty packed in the weekends but a definite must for first time Palm Springs visitors. The views are incredible from the top. Things I wish I had known before going: There are a few hiking trails up there. Bring appropriate shoes as they are very rocky. It's a nice place to enjoy a picnic if you bring your own food. Bring a mask if you're uncomfortable being in very close proximity to people while riding up. Tram cars are standing room only and the next person is less than a foot away. There is a 20-30 degree difference in temperature, so bring a jacket. It wasn't too bad in late April. I can imagine it's pretty windy and chilly in the winter. Hope this helps.

The highest vertical cable car in the world which deserved you to experience and explore the exciting moments. You have to pay $10 for parking at the entrance, and the staff will tell you the parking area. Lot A is the closest one to the ticket purchase. You may take a line for purchasing tickets after being checked with the package. Then hangout in the waiting area inside or outside for the call. Then you will start the fun short journey by taking the cable car 🚠. You may also have the option of online purchasing.

Yeah, but you have to buy a Birthday cake & offer a slice for everyone on the tram and don't forget the employees too! LoL! j/k :)

Sleds are acceptable but like someone mention there is a criteria. Just bring your basic plastic Walmart sled and you'll be fine!
Dogs are not allowed on the tram aside from service animals. While taking our best pal on cool trips with us can seem fun, there is not anything at the top for them. The building is only a cafe, restaurant, and theatre area. The forest at the top is Mt San Jancinto state park, state parks do not usually allow dogs. *Extra knowledge, while you may wonder why something as natural as your dog isn't allowed in most state/national parks - it is because they are predators and many animals will not go near areas a dog marks (urine/feces). This then puts animal habitat that is already at risk in even more risk. TL;DR Dogs are great, however when visiting national parks they are best left at home.
Still no snow no rain in the desert either dry spell extremely warm winter
