This campground is only 15 minutes from Telluride. There is only 16 or so spots, with first come first serve. We got super lucky with a spot right on the edge. Beautiful, wonderfully kept, and the hosts were amazing.

Sunshine Campground is just beautiful. Very peaceful, clean and has beautiful views over by the overlook trail. Some spots are larger than others and some are pretty close together but that didn't bother us. The host, Barb, was excellent - friendly and helpful. Would 100% come back here.

Seem to recall you could only stay 14 days then would have to leave for at least a day. Pretty close to a steep hyw so trucks are very noisy. Great place to spent a night and ride gondal to Telluride.
