My overall experience was good. My daughter was here with eclampsia during her pregnancy. We were treated with kindess and respect until we were in labor and delivery was the nurse LyLy. ( I hope this was the right spelling) My daughter and grandson could have died because of her irresponsibility. I can't even remember the good nurses who took such good care of my child and grandchild. I just THANK THE Lord He watched over them and the Holy Ghost who never left our side. Nurse Melanie, in the High Risk maternity ward, thank you. Your name is the only one I remember. There were others who were great also but this trauma has made me forget. LyLy was awful!!! I had to go get her several times. When my grandson went into distress it was another nurse or doctor who saw this. I had to go and get someone when the blood pressure machine kept beeping after taking her pressure. I mean was I supposed to turn it off after 10 minutes myself. I ended up calling the desk nurse and once the supervising nurse came in to turn it off. I mean seriously. Was I supposed to turn it off!!?? My grandson coded white. He would have died because Lyly did nothing!!! And she was annoyed that I kept calling her in to check them. Someone else saw him in distress, she was oblivious to it all.....she just didn't care. I am convinced of that. Lord help any other person under her care. I said this review was good because so many other people who took care of my family were great!!! Thank you and God bless you all!!! Thank you NICU also!!!8

The nurses at the stroke unit are great. But the ER service at HMH is horrible, On June 23 I brought my wife to the ER with pain on the left side of her face and the ER told her it was because she grinds her teeth at night so they send her home with Ibuprofen Which for some reason they think Ibuprofen cures everything at this hospital they didn’t even bother to do an ultra sound for days later she suffered a stroke and now she is in the stroke unit.

As a retired nurse, my eye catches a lot - and I understand a lot of what is and what is not valid in reviews of healthcare. From start to finish, my experience with outpatient surgery could not have been at a higher level - and the genuinely friendly, humble and caring staff at all levels exceeded my expectations. Bravo.

Huntington Hospital has been beyond amazing in their professionalism and level of care. The minute they saw the results of my cat scan they had a surgeon there and operated within an hour. The hospital is very well run. The nurses have all been so good, efficient and kind. The city is very, very lucky to have such a good hospital in Pasadena.

Call in and ask, give them medical papers. Describe what you need to them.
Top Notch my daughter was born here they were great and are now associated with Ceaders
As far as I know they do not..
I would suggest you try calling the billing department, I'm sure they can give you that information
No
No they do not at all..
The hospital does not provide any transportation to the hospital. On rare occasions they provide local transportation back home. Contact you health insurance to set up transportation as most health insurance providers now do. It may be necessary to contact your health insurance carrier and ask for your Social Worker or Case Worker and to assist you with that. If no health insurance carrier, call City Hall and they should be able to help. But ask friends, relatives, or neighbors to help first and that might work. If you are feeling poorly don't wait do something right away. Depending on age and or disability, call Dial-A-Ride for your area and they may be able to provide say day trip, and ask for a Supervisor if needed. If this is found to be helpful, please LIKE and rate. THANK YOU!!!
Please come to the hospital to inquire.
Honestly there's not good time. One day the ER can be empty and another is full. It could be that in the morning is empty and in like 2hrs its packed
There are two ways to find one considering your health insurance carrier. One is to look through the directory of providers that Heath Net is required to send to you by USPS mail, or do an online search for a provider. Or, call Health Net and request a nearby Dr who suits your needs who you may feel most comfortable with. If any hospital is called requesting the information for a Dr who accepts your insurance, you will be referred to contacting your insurance or an online search. If this was helpful to you, please LIKE and rate. Thank You!!!
Yes. Day or night 24 7 365. Insurance or private pay (cash/credit card) all are welcome. If no insurance, the law says a person must be stablized meaning life is not in jeopardy then referred to another medical facility. If life IS in jeopardy without the ability to pay, then it's taken more seriously and dealt with differently. It is a private hospital so they have discretion as to who (without a way to pay) they will and won't treat. Overall, it's a good hospital. If the information provided answers the question and was helpful, please LIKE and rate. Thank You!!!
There is a psychiatric unit at Huntington Hospital - The Della Martin Center.
yes - it's open til 8pm - then re opens again at 9pm til 2am.
Then you'll have to call the hospital and give the patient information so they can check the system to see if she's listed.
You should inquire at the front desk in the lobby. They are staffed from 6am to 10pm. Outside of those hours, you must go through the ER which will have staff there available to assist in reaching a patient.
If you are trying to visit then I don't believe it would be a problem. If you're interested in being a patient if you have a passport or other forms of ID. You should be fine. Just make sure you know you're SSN and insurance information.
Dear Ms. Villarruel, Please except my sincere condolences for the loss of your husband. We are very sorry that he didn’t get the care that you expected. If you feel like it would be helpful, please feel free to reach out to our Patient Relations Department so they can look into your concerns. Their number is (626) 397-5211.
No. Huntington Hosptial is short term acute care. I believe one of the only long term acute care facilities in LA is Barlow

Medical bills in the US can always be negotiated down. Any invoice, if it does not state interest terms, cannot subsequently be charged interest.
