Latest self checkout scanner is a little tricky. Library assistant gave me a tutorial. Still, I have a complicated password, and surrendered --- she checked out my materials. Note to self: simplify my password. Wonderful service. Every time!!

I'm sorry, but I thought that libraries were supposed to be quiet. Apparently not. As I did research, I'm finding out that libraries are"cultural centers" for the community to gather and hang out. Also, I guess it's up to the librarian, if they're chatty and Loud which he sometimes is then more than likely the Librarians not going to care if the library is quiet and if people are trying to do their homework and study for test. Because down at the Yakima Library, it's really quiet. So I just don't get it. it sucks, because if you don't have a car everything closes so early in this little town. The buses stop running at 6, Yakima library closes at 6. And Selah's library closes at 7. So, when you go there expecting to get quiet time because you have no other place to get it other than what you think is supposed to be a traditional library, but come to find out it's not because the librarian is sitting there flirting with the children's Mother laughing really loud and another guy in a wheelchair talking hecka loud on the phone and then othcer people surrounded by you talking and laughing. Sorry for grammar and punctuation as I am annoyed and don't feel like correcting it. BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT'S FANTASTIC

Fun welcoming place with animals and reads. Great for kids and teens, and helpful for students and teachers.

I don't believe so. But if you can get them, you have 1 week. For series, such as a season of a TV show, you get 4 weeks.
They do offer story time. I think it is on there website or you can check it out a the library.
