Settlers Place Apartments

Apartments are roomy and airy with nice balconies. It is very close to Robinson Town Center and the airport as well as easy access to the parkway to get to Pittsburgh. Large dog park that residents with pets seem to enjoy. The pros end there. This place is overrun with HUD and out of control children. Kids running everywhere, darting out in the parking lot and road, throwing balls and riding bikes and scooters around residents cars, hanging from trees and screaming until late at night. They treat the properly like they own it; having campfires and barbeques and camping out (and screaming). I cannot believe that they are so lax with how residents act.

Awesome!! Very friendly & welcoming, very well upkept multiple complex thats very modern in a suburban setting. Its very peaceful & dignified as the tenants are very warm and generous while being very quick to lend a helping hand or simply just present you with a genuine hello in passing through the hallway. The staff are very courteous and professional, clearly & consistently keeping the utmost comfort & convienience's of tenants at the the top of their priority list!! 15/10 stars! If your looking for a quaint, serene little piece of good living to call your place of residence, then Settlers Place is clearly the right for you, & your fur friends if ya got em. Highly Recommended

My son, a Veteran who just finished in the Air Force after 8 years, was applying there today for an apartment and had already set up delivery of his belongings being held by the military until he got settled. Settlers Place insisted that he apply in person with his co-signer, my 75 year old father, also a Veteran from the Army. My son is in classes at RMU so my dad made the 1.5 hour journey...each way!!!...so 3 hours to fill out his portion and submit the checks for deposit and fees. My son was to stop around 4:30 to complete the application after his classes. AFTER my dad gave them the money and his info, they gave the apartment away minutes later. As a real estate agent...with an attorney in the family, we plan to make sure the real estate commission is fully aware of this. I hope they never do this to another person. Beware!!! Unethical. Immoral. And to Veterans!!! Despicable!!

The management is very nice and polite to my experience. They are very understanding and helpful. Now having said that, they are not the best at dealing with customer issues. I have been here for a few months and the past month there has been a dog above me (I am in the second floor) and I will bark and slam into stuff all day and all night. I have reported this multiple times and the management has yet to tell me they have spoken to the other people or person above us. It gets so bad I will be woken up in the middle of the night from this dog slamming into the tables or structures in the upstairs apartment. Be cautious when you get an apartment here, ask if there are dogs above your apartment or around it, be sure to see if you could get an upstairs apartment simply because you won't hear anything because your upstairs. This damn dog is still barking as I am typing this. New update, 5/30/17 I received a call from the management stating that they had dealt with the issue and spoke with the couple above me. They have notified them as I was told and they told them they have to deal with their pet. The management is very considerate of their occupants and do their best to make your experience at their apartments the best. So I hang my head and apologize for my previous review regarding the management.
