Black mold FILLED the air conditioner!! Made my daughter sick! Holes throughout the walls. Double vanity sink with only one sink working. Turning into health department!

The sweetest couple owns this place! Very warm and inviting environment. The rooms are clean; updated AC, mini fridge, and microwave in the room. The furniture is a little dated but still very clean. My room has two sitting areas with tables, so lots of space for your stuff. Another thing I was happy to see were the nice towels in the bathroom lol. I know that’s a weird thing to compliment but I stay in motels for weeks at a time for work, and this place has really soft towels. Would definitely stay here again. 100% recommend.

We came to the Sunset Inn after a terrible storm flooded the roads on our way home from Louisville, KY. The gentleman was beyond kind giving us a room at 11pm for the the night. After a week of staying in hotels (including the Hilton) this Inn was the cleanest. It had beautiful renovations & amazing staff. We stayed because of a storm, but we would definitely stay here again just for a relaxing night.

PROS Room was clean and adequate. Owners found us a room on short notice. Very reasonable rates. Would stay here again. CONS Would not take a phone reservation just told me to "show up. We are here 24/7." But we were told there were no rooms when we got there! NO COFFEE! And office door locked and no one answered the phone. I forgot my pillow when we checked out. When we returned to retrieve it, again, office door locked and no one answered the phone.
