Nice park. Nice trails. Pretty easy hike (in my opinion). The views are great. You can make it what you want really... hike right thru just to get thru it, or branch off a trail and get closer to the water. I spent a little over 2 hours here so I broke off the trails often and took my time exploring. If you can make it here it's really worth the time to see the falls.

Super great campsite and park. The nice thing with this park is the walk around the four falls are not that long(about a mile or a little more maybe). The path can be a little rocky and have some uneven footing but other than that it's really beautiful. I definitely recommend Swallow Falls as both a campsite and for walking around the falls.

A very nice park with walk paths and trails. The main walk path is a wide gravelly path with many over looks of the falls. The trail along the water takes you down a good solid trail (it is a rocky trail in places not flat) from one water fall to the next. A very beautiful scenic trail with many chances to get at the water edge with several exits up to the gravelly path. I have been there twice (fall and spring) and would definitely visit again!

This place is absolutely magical! If you need to get a nature reset and waterfalls sound good to you, there are four at the park. Its not a long hike between each waterfall, but there are some uphill walks and slippery rocks that make it a little bit more than a walk through the woods. Worth the drive from wherever you're coming from in MD!

There are picnic tables up by the parking lot but not near the water falls. Hope this helps.
Not far at all. The entire trail is just over a mile. And that runs along side of it. I'd say about a quarter mile in
Swallow Falls has a $3 per car entry fee. It is only a hiking and scenic view park. Nearby (about three miles away) is Harrington Manor State Park. There you have camping and boating. Contact Maryland DNR for prices.
They are those "pre-built poll grills, where you supply all of the charcoal lighter fluid," if I used the correct terminology .;-)
There's nothing saying you can't smoke, so I'd think vaping is fine. I do both and like to be respectful in parks to go away from other people and not leave anything behind.
