We had a great time at Save the Animals Today. The kids had so much fun feeding the horses, goats, llamas and alpacas. They also love meeting the cats and pigs, chickens, and ducks. It was awesome to learn that most (if not all) of those animals are rescues, and this "farm" is completely run and operated by one owner and several volunteers .We will definitely be back!

We spent an amazing morning at Save the Animals Today~Horse Sanctuary with Patty. We helped fed and groom the horses. Beautiful gentle horses that are too old to ride but perfect to love on. My daughter can't wait to go back, it's a great place to get your hands a little dirty with the animals or the new veterans community-based garden. Volinteer, community hours, or just get some good old fashioned fresh air! Save the animals today is a 501(c)3 Non Profit so tax deductible donations keel it up and running.

Yes and No , as long as they follow the rules and a parent fills out the waiver. So the parent has to come for the first visit to fill that out.
Our new volunteer orientation is 8am every Saturday. We give community service hours for her volunteering and she will love it.
I am sorry but we can't take in any more horses with out at least their feed being covered.
Yes depending on experience and maturity of the teen.
We would love to have your daughter volunteer. New Volunteer orientation is every Saturday at 8am and we will work till about 11:30. visit our website to print out a volunteer release of liability form www.STATHorseSanctuary.org
Yes, you would be able to volunteer and she gives community service hours
Hi Gabby, We work from 8-Noon on Saturdays. Pattie
Contact them. I'm just a neighbor. They could use your help.
Yes, you will need to come with her for new volunteer orientation (any Saturday at 8am) to sign the release of liability.
She is always looking for volunteers.
Yes.
We are a horse Sanctuary. Sorry no puppies.
I'm pretty sure they don't do rodents/small-critters like that.
Thank you so much for thinking of us. The critters had quite a few pumpkins after Halloween and they seem to like them; if you want to drop it off that would be fine!
Mostly horses but we have a barnyard with goats, pigs, sheep, ducks, chickens and some cats! 14 or over is the usual volunteer age, however, a younger child with parent is OK.
