Absolutely terrible experience since PLK has taken over.. I moved out and thank goodness the price hike in rent was ridiculous. This place has terrible bones and is a money pit. None the less the management team has no clue what is going on and the pure lack of communication between them is unreal. We moved out and they double charged us on our pet deposit amongst other unwarranted charges.. you know only $300-$400 I’ve reached out multiple times to management about and even the regional manager with no response for over a month now. I’ve followed up multiple times.. needless to say I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy as there is a mold issue they refuse to acknowledge.. I even had to relocate my kids for an entire week as they left the molded wall open while the property manager TJ figured out how they were going to “resolve” the issue…and we had to push them to even do that. Hopefully this helps paint a picture of what we dealt with.

1 bedroom very small. Patio and bedroom in particular. The apartment we were shown wasn't cleaned yet, so it was not a good first impression. The outside of the buildings looks very well taken care of! We haven't made a final decision yet as we are still looking around. We will be in touch. We may come back and look at a 2 bedroom.

PLK IS THE BEST! It's like family and I love my job. My co workers are the best. I feel like I'm treated like a human not just a number. They allow you to grow, and help you every step of the way. If your looking for a place to make a career this is it. If your looking for a home, this is it. We will treat ya like family.

I’ve lived at Burlington Oak apts. twice. The first time they were relatively nice. I moved to WA state and came back 5 years later and decided to come back. This time around they were in pretty bad shape. Nothing worked, it was run down… however there is new management. I wasn’t able to get experience all they are going to do to better the complex, but I feel that they will make it so much better. I’ve seen pictures of the newly renovated apartments and they are beautiful. Though the substantial rent increase was a huge hit and slightly disappointing, most luxury style apartments as of the ones they are renovating are of the same price and what I am paying now. Unfortunately we live in a time where rent is extremely high anyways and this really isn’t just them, it is all over the world… and you get what you pay for honestly. the only reason I moved from there is because I wanted a first floor apartment as I was tired of walking up 2 flights of steps, and I wanted to live in a different city.. but I am still looking forward to seeing what this new management accomplishes for these apartments, and makes old into new!
