I do not remember seeing tables, but I was taking mine to go. Plenty of sandwich choices with plenty of meat. A little tight inside but one of those hole in the wall best kept secrets places..unusual hours so be aware of that. My wife liked my leftovers and would eat there again.

This is about a 23 minute drive for me and totally worth it! Small, unassuming deli that's been in business 57 years! In old North dayton. The list of sandwiches and other options is almost overwhelming- mainly because everything sounds delicious! Order at the deli, pick up at the counter. I went with the cuban, German potato salad and the chicken spaetzle soup (to take home). The food did not disappoint! Omg. So fresh, so delicious and so messy! Get extra napkins! Everyone working was busy busy and super friendly. We stayed and ate in the back. They also have a nice selection of German beers! DEFINITELY WILL BE BACK!! Love this place.

I've been coming in to Charlie's since I was a boy. No bells and whistles or fancy advertising... Just delicious sandwich, soup, and other delicious surprises! If I'm feeling exceptionally hungry the pounder or 2 pounder sure does hit the spot! :-)

Support this local business and be rewarded with tons of incredible, delicious deli sandwiches. You could go to Subway or Penn Station like a chump, or get over to Charlie's for more variety and more flavor! I recommend the Reuben and the Hatch! There are also several imported German beers and boxed and canned sweets and ingredients. Yummm!
